YOU CAN TRY THIS AT HOME

LETS TEST THE ALTERNATOR---THIS MAY BE THE REASON THE BATTERY WAS DOWN

HERE'S 2 WAYS TO DO IT

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bzz7P3qNHcE

THE OTHER WAY IS TO CHARGE THE BATTERY AND IMMEDIATELY TO THE AUTO PARTS STORE WITH YOUR CAR....HAVE THEM FULLY TEST THE CHARGING SYSTEM...ALSO USE THE "AMP CLAMP" TO SEE IF YOU HAVE A "PARASITIC DRAW" (THIS PARASITIC DRAW 'THING' CAN BE FOUND ON "YOU TUBE" ALSO)

NORMALLY THE AUTO STORE WILL PERFORM BATTERY AND CHARGING TESTS FOR FREE!!!!

ALL RIGHTY THEN......GOOD BATTERY.....ALTERNATOR IS "GOOD" BUT STILL NOT CHARGING THE BATTERY?

LETS SORTA GO THRU THIS.......THE "DRILL SERGEANT" PART IS WHAT I WANT YOU TO PAY ATTENTION TO

I asked this question minutes before i went to recheck the alternator. It was defective and was exchanged. Seems to be running fine now. But this is what happened the first time I replaced the alternator...guess I will see

I RECKON YOU SAW THE "UN-JEWG" PORTION IN MY ANSWER ABOVE (IN MY LINK)?----I'M GUESSING YOU ARE REMOVING THE BATTERY CABLES COMPLETELY AND CHARGING THE BATTERY FULLY---PRIOR TO RESTARTING YOUR CAR...TO RESET COMPUTER? (IF THE ALTERNATOR WAS NOT CHARGING...THE BATTERY MUSTA BEEN LOW) A "JUMP" WILL NOT CUT IT--SINCE IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY DISCONNECTED.

BAD NEW PART?.....AT LEAST YOU DID NOT EXPERIENCE MY "NEW-BAD PART" SCENARIO! SEE MY ANSWER ON MAY 31 IN THIS POST
