Problems when starting

Only happens now and then not all the time. Ignition starts but cuts out. Takes a few attempts to get going as well as pumping the accelerator.

This might be an ignition relay. Check fuel pressure.

Often can be a fuel pump problem on the VY commodore, I would still run a scan for any unresolved fault codes, start here.
