Engine idles rough
The 5.3 engine in my 2003 GMC Yukon,idles very rough with the rpm's loping between 400-1000. Seems to be worse when damp or wet outside. Idles so rough at times, the engine dies.No codes, no check engine light, no warnings. Any ideas?

try cleaning the throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner and see if that helps, it may be gummed up.make sure to hook up air ductingwhen done.
