GMC C1500 Alternator Problem
"When I turn over the ignition on my 2003 GMC Sierra, it usually starts right away, but at times it will crank over for several seconds before ignition. I had the system tested and the battery, starter and alternator tested ok."

scan for codes and check fule pressure first
