Air blows cold, but will not come out through the vents. It defaults to the windshield defrost. I can switch it to the floor, but not the driver and passenger vents. Recently upgraded radio t in dash and changed the housing to a Metra Turbo 2 interface system, model 99-5718, so FORD self diagnostic test wont run. I think it is the blend door, but I don't know how to check the fuses or any thing else, before I rip out the dash. What should I do?

The door you are talking about for vents is the mode door not blend. Blend is for heat/ac. First check to see if you have any vacuum lines off going to vacuum motors that do the switching. Or a cut vacuum line or disconnected at control head. More than likely it got disconnected from radio replacement. The panel/floor vacuum motor is accessed through drivers footwell.
