I was driving home a few days ago, and when I stopped at a light my car died. I tried to restart it but it just made wheezing sounds. I did this a few times and it eventually started, but after parking it at home and sitting overnight it is doing the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's the starter (as every other starting component, electrically speaking, is close to brand new), but wanted to get an idea of other things I could check before I start throwing money at parts.
