Hi

I have an issue on my Fiesta where it makes a rumbling noise when I turn sharp lefts. It doesn't do it all the time. I park in a car park everyday and you have to turn left to go up or down the spiral road thingy, this is the only time I ever notice it. On the most recent occasion (last week), I turned left, there was a noise and resistance (not on the steering wheel), it steered me straight ahead for an extra half second, I nearly put the car in the wall! The car also makes a slight hum when I drive off in the mornings. It's just failed its MOT for a rough rear wheel bearing on the passenger side, is it possible I have wheel bearings on the front begging me to be replaced?

It kind of sounds like wheel bearings, try to find an empty parking lot and drive in a circle one way and then the other with window rolled down to see where you find the noise. But I'd bet it's a wheel bearing.
