Hello, I recently took my car ( 2003 BA ford falcon XR6 ) to get a second hand indicator shaft installed as the wiper side broke.
Since then things have been malfunctioning for example. Cruise control stopped working, airbag light came on, now nothing works on the steering wheel, horn, volume etc.
I have taken it back assuming it hadn't been installed properly or something.
He has called to say that it is a separate problem ( clock spring )
And is charging full amount to get fixed ( labour, clock spring ) it just seems a coincidence that after they pulled that all apart and on receipt said that he took airbag out that all these other problems arise and have to pay for!
Your thoughts and advice will be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Matthew

If he took air bag out and had to dismantle steering column then he probably didn't watch what he was doing with clock spring and screwed it up. We don't have that model in US here but clock springs are touchy and if not put in right the get screwd up.
