Power steering

I have a 2003 f350 4wd the truck had a 6.0 diesel from the factory the guy I bought it from put a 2000 7.3l in it. The problem it has is the power steering is growling he said he replaced the pump the fluid level is ok so what do you think

This might not be it. But its worked for me many times

Takes some patience

Roll the wheel full Clockwise to the stop

Then roll it full Counter-Clockwise to the stop

Now heres the TRICK:

MAKE THE MOVEMENTS LAST, 2-3 minutes--AS YOU TURN THE STEERING WHEEL IN SUPER--SLOW MOTION!

I SEE THE DIFFERENCE START AFTER SEVERAL CYCLES.

GIVE ME SOME GOOD/ SUPER INEXPENSIVE NEWS!

I would really check into that since a 7.3 turbo will not clear the fire wall on a 6.0 truck and the trans are totally diffrent. The motor mounts are not in the same spot. A 6.0 liter fuel system uses a return style pump and a 7.3 doesn't so if he did do that it would cost thousands of dollars to do and even more if you did a decent job of it.
