Where is the oil sending unit on a 2003 Ford Expedition, 5.4L, 4 wheel drive?

Hello,

The oil pressure sender/sensor is located on the left front of the engine. Check out the diagrams (Below). It looks like the oil pressure sensor is on the P/S pump in the picture, but it it is threaded into the oil filter adapter next to/under the P/S pump. The P/S pump has its own pressure sensor. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Engine oil pressure switch for the 4.6L is near the electronic variable orifice (left side of engine compartment).

The switch on the 5.4L engine is on left front of engine, next to the power steering pump.

I cant locate the oil sending unit in order to replace it. My oil pressure guage light is on and there's no pressure. I have changed the oil but the light is still on.

For a 5.4L engine its located on the left front of engine next to the power steering pump-see item 31 below
