How to replace the cabin air filter

Hello, I have a 2003 Ford Expedition.It is the Eddie Bower eddition. The motor is the 5.4 Trinton.I have looked at other web sites and they have stated that it is located on the firewall wall on the left side as I am looking at the vehicle. not there. Another site stated "under the dash". O K where. I would appreciate your help with this. Thank You Jim.

CABIN AIR FILTER
Cabin air filter is available as an optional dealer-installed kit. Cabin air filter installation instructions are included with the kit. If a filter is already installed, it is located under the right side of the instrument panel in the HVAC housing. Trim panel may have to be removed to gain access to filter. See Fig. 1.
