My check engine light is going on and off

03 Ford Crown Victoria, ex-Ca highway patrol car, 140K miles, engine light goes off and on, regular miss at idle only, good power. My code scanner says miss at #6 plug. What I have done -
Changed #6 plug and coil. Changed manifold. Changed timing chain guides. Took compression test - left bank of 4 cyl down 20 lbs each from right bank.

Nothing helped - what now?
