What can cause an alternator to go bad 0n 03 dodge 2500 5.9l diesel in 6 weeks

Original altinator went bad and replaced it with a new Bosch OEM. New one stopped charging in 6 weeks. I had 2 new batteries installed before I change it

One that quality control missed, probably. You're bound to get 1 or 2 at least in every production batch.

Check all of the charging system wiring. Make sure all of the connections are clean and strong. No frayed or loose wires. Battery connections clean and strong. If your car has one, check the fusible link.
