2003 Dodge Stratus car wont start

Just had to replace battery in my car it ran fine for a couple of days. Suddenly the low beam lights wouldnt cut in and you had to hold the switch to keep high beams on. It ran gine cranked then stopped turned it off then tried to start it 15 minute later it wont crank. Interior lights come on and lights on dash come on you can hear a clicking noise when you try to start it but it does not start. What can it be
