Replacing rotorand pads, enagage drive train and the left front wheel turned do I have a problem

Had wheels off and put the car in drive and only the left hub turned it still has the old rotors and pads on

Ok, you have an open rear in the front. When you drop to the ground, it should be good unless you have other issues before this repair.
