I am having some electrical issues with my Cruiser. It starts with the battery light coming on. Then the check engine light comes on and I can start smelling something like a sweet smell. Then the trans starts slipping and it will not shift. This only happens when it rains. I have replaced the battery and have had it checked by two shops that say they can not figure out what is wrong with it. Once it dries out it runs fine....until it rains again. Any ideas or suggestions?

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.
