2003 Chevrolet Tahoe Repair Question

Vents
2003 chevy tahoe, when you turn on the forward vents to blow on you it starts to come out at you then dies off slowly and only blows air out the defrost vents. i swapped the control unit out with another and it does the same thing. i took the one i replaced put it in my other vehicle and the control unit works just fine, where do i go from here?

Check for vacuum leaks. The vent doors are actuated with engine vacuum. If it is weak due to a leak, it can cause this.
