Oil gauge moving

2003 tahoe I put 6 quart. And the oil pressure is moving when I accelerate and goes down when I brake. Should the gauge be moving.

It should be moving the oil pressure at idle should be 10-12 psi and @ 2K's rpm -should be about 40psi. Sounds normal to me-

BUT BEFORE I DID THIS OIL CHANGE IT WAS NOT MOVING I JUST GOT IT IN FEBRUARY AND ITS MY SECOND OIL CHANGE THE FIRST TIME I LET A SHOP DO IT.

SHOULD IT BE MOVING WHEN I AM MOVING LIKE IF I GIVE IT SOME GAS IT GO TO LIKE 50PSI - 60 PSI DEPENDING ON THE SPEED. SHOULD IT BE DOING THIS. THANKS
