Chevrolet Silverado Smoke Problem
The climate control lights up but the blower will not turn on. Just before it quit completely it would work occasionally.

by the blower there is a resistor check tosee if that is getting power. If you saw smoke before teh blower quit then ther eis good chance that the harness has burnt up. I have the same truck and mine did. the harness and resistor are about $100 from gmparts direct.com. Have a pro check this out. It is becoming common on these trucks.
