2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo starting electrical

Went to start my car this morning and unlocked it with the keyless entry and got in the dome light was on went to turn it on and start it none of my gauges came no radio nothing let off needless vibrated and made a flickered noise I tried it 2 more times and did the same thing I popped my hood wiggled my battery cable and they didn't move closed my hood and tried to start it again and it started with a little hesitation drove it to work with no more problems this was the 1st time this has ever happened

OTHER THAN HAVING YOUR BATTERY "THOROUGHLY" TESTED OR EVEN A "FULL SYSTEM TEST" (THIS INCLUDES THE ALTERNATOR) AT A POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORE.......USUALLY THIS IS A FREE SERVICE
