Steering noise codes

2003 cadillac deville 4.6L 73000 miles power steering sucking noise when you turn the wheel what is the trick to get rid of it, have followed procedure to bleed air from the system. Do not have any leaks.

engine service light have two codes P0741 and P1860 I know these relate to the torque converter and TCC solenoid. My question is the drivability of does not seem to be effected what gives here?

If you added fluid, then you have a leak. Have a dye inserted and checked. The noise is air. If you bled the system, then the pump may have been damaged from running out of fluid.
The codes are there for a reason. It may be ok for now but it will fail. I would not wait till the end to fix it. It is better to be pro active instead of re active.
