2003 Cadillac Deville Repair Question

Cadillac Deville Body Problem
I was replacing the tcc solenoid got the old one out out the new one in and went to put the clip that holds it in and it fell off when I went to slide it in , do I need to pull the transmission out and find the clip or will it hurt anything inside there ?

the clip went behind the valve body. did you try to use a magnet???
i worry that it will get somewhere it is not supposed to be.
it may be ok, just not sure.
get a new clip on the solenoid.

I don't believe it went behind the valve body but on the front side where the pan is can't be for sure where it went I tried using a magnet but haven't got a hold of it
