Will the neutral saftey switch stop my back up lights from working on my 2003 cadillac cts

Check and test the back-up fuse and the reverse lamp relay

Follow the shift cable to trans. The neutral switch by the trans. Selector shaft. There is 2 13mm screws loosen them and u can adjust the switch by turnin the switch l an r. With the car in rev. Have some1 watch the lights. When they come on tighten 1 bolt. Then go into car start the car in prak and neutral and recheck rev. Lights if all is good. Then rescure the other screw. Gl
