Bmw320D auto Tourer 53 model
Enter your question...Viewing to buy BMW 320d Tourer est. 101,000 miles. Auto trans. fluid when viewed through top cover port is full to brim. Should it be? Is this a method of concealing transmision/gearbox (auto) problems?

Take the plug out when it is running, not stopped. The level is correct with the plug out and the transmission oil temperature between 30-50C and it just dribbles out the port. Use the correct oil, or it causes trouble.
