2002 Volvo S40 Repair Question

Gauges are not working
Hello I own a 2002 Volvo s40 and the gauges are not working we tried 2 used instrument cluster panels and it did not help, my digital came back on and my gas gauge shows that I have a half tank, so I was wondering if it could be a bad ground somewhere or could it be a bad module so that's why my gauges are not working can someone please help me because I really need it thank you

you need to verify powers and grounds for the instrument panel. once they are verified, then you go after the dash cluster. not with a used one but with a new or remaned unit.
