2002 Toyota Corolla high milage oil

It is more expensive and very rarely on sale-theoil is changed about ever 3000-3500 miles. My question is high milage oil necessary or can I use regular oil 5w-30

Keep using what you've been using. My '88 Grand Caravan has over 415,000 miles and I use the cheapest hardware store oil I can find. When you get that many miles, we'll talk about special oil.
