Saturn SL1 Body Problem
Hi,
My name is William I'm 21 and have no knowledge on cars whatsoever. When i start my car and shift from park to reverse the car shifts incredibly hard, when I accelerate the car shifts very hard as it climbs through gears. My father is very savy when it comes to auto mechanics so he can help me fix this problem I just don't know in which direction to go. I did take it to a tranny specialist in the area and he said lower valve body? But when I search online I find that, that is only a temporary fix. Any insight would be greatly appreciated .

could be an internal issue. get another opinion from a trans shop. it sounds like the valve body but from this condition, it may have damaged other components inside the trans.
