2002 Saturn L300 electrical

Service engine, service engine soon, air bag, security, ABS all these lights are on in dash and I can't get out of park or open my trunk but all the running lights work and my drivers door lock is not working right. This car is all power driven and everything else is working.

Will the starter motor crank? Can you check for applicable trouble codes? To check for codes, yourself, at least you need an obd2 code reader. Your local autostore should have a code reader. They don't cost much.

Thanks for reply on 2002 Saturn L300 with electric problem, JDL. Everything in motor area works, all lights work except inside dome lights. I'v have Saturn mech. In the area that seems to think its the BCM and told me not to change myself I'll short out the computer under dash but I'm going to have it checked for trouble codes Monday or go to autostore see it they can do it. Thanks again for your advise.
