2002 Saturn L200 air conditioning

Air conditioning stopped working. Took in to mechanic and was told the compressor won't turn on. It's working but won't turn on. The diode has been replaced, recharged air but cannot find out why compressor won't turn on. Checked all fuses and that is not the problem

With the car idling and the ac on and the ac compressor unplugged see if you have power at the connector if so you have a open terminal on the connector which is easy to spot. Or you have a bad ac clutch I have alot of bad ac clutches on those.
