2002 Pontiac Grand Am Repair Question

Gt sunroof
I have the sunroof off. One arm is in a closed position and the other in a open position. How do I adjust the arms to be in the same position?

Everything I see concerning this car shows the sunroof as being power retracting, so I'm not sure what arms you mean. Could you upload a couple of pictures?
