Hey! I have a series of questions about my car. I have a 02 Bonneville and recently my front windows roll down but gets stuck and will not roll back up. My belt is shooting tiny sparks of water and when I put water in the radiator to flush it or keep it from running hot the water leaks out from under the car on the passenger side. I have pictures from where this is occurring I will attach. Also it gets hot very fast and the gauge does not move, it's still driveable but I can see the steam on the hood. Can you help me out by telling me what I need to do? Thanks!

Window: Remove the door trim panel and find out where it's hanging up.

Coolant leak: Buy the coolant leak detector kit from Autozone or similar and follow the directions to locate the leak. Your pictures aren't downloading.

The temperature sending unit sounds defective. Replace it. It's located on the side of the engine block.

You may have a blown head gasket, too. Open the radiator cap with the engine off. Put a balloon or plastic bag over the opening and start the car. If the balloon fills out, you've got a blown head gasket.

Thank you! I heard it could've been a blown head gasket but I wanted to see for sure what it was. I will try the balloon or bag today. Thanks!

You're welcome. Thank you for choosing 2CarPros.
(Normally I say "It's a pleasure." But in this case that sounds kinda sadistic.)

True. A 20 dollar motor manual will make it so you can do most of the work yourself, IF the block doesn't need decking. You can save boatloads of money if the block doesn't need decking.
