I have just changed my catalytic convertor, the engine will not idle properly and the catalytic convertor glowed red, I switched off immeadiately. What is the problem? Many thanks.

You still have the same problem that ruined the first converter. There is a severe misfire or over rich mixture condition that has to be diagnosed and repaired before you ruin another converter.
