My 2002 Maxima has no SES light on...I am having trouble with the car wanting to start and shut right back off once the RPMs fall. If I want it to keep running, I have to give it a little gas once it fires over and then it runs just fine. However, on my way to work, it shut off on me. It took about 5-7 seconds of holding the starter for it to fire back over and remained running all the way to the office. Car seems to run great and has plenty of get up and go...I am perplexed.

What I have done already...I replaced the fuel pump, filter and strainer. I have replaced spark plugs and checked coil packs for operation. Car runs smooth as silk when it is running.
