NISSAN MAXIMA BRAKES PROBLEM
2002 Nissan Maxima • 125,000 miles
When it rains hard my 02 Nissan maxima starts acting crazy. The car doesn't want to shift out of park when I apply the brakes. The car takes off in 2nd gear. The abs would engage when I would barely press the brakes and I know it isn't because of slick road conditions. They would engage every time I hit the brakes. That problem seams to have been fixed when I had the right rear wheel speed sensor replaced. But the issue with the transmission is still occurring only when it rains. Also the speedometer jumps up to 20 and 30 mph when I turn the ignition to the on position and the car isn't even running yet. The power driver seat stops working and many times the radio will just turn off and reset. I think that's about all I can think of it doing when you drive it in the rain. Any suggestions please would be most helpful!
