Recently bought míní cooper 02plate in uk. When driving ?ar, it just stops moving.have to start again to get going keeps happening over every few yards whilst driving.why?
Recently bought míní cooper 02plate in uk. When driving ?ar, it just stops moving.have to start engine again to get going keeps happening over every few yards also a really bad smell appears.only happens when i d?íve it i am a new driver,it is fine with my husband

Check the catalytic converter for plugging.

Have the fuel pressure checked to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump-start here
