Why is my car making thumping noises and jerking around suddenly?
My car is making popping/thumping noises when i turn and sudden jerking when i turn. and sometimes when shifting, it makes similar popping/thumping noises.the trans has been replaced about 6 months ago and so we the motor mounts because of something that started similarly. i can fix it if i know what it is, but i dont know what it is, and i dont have the money to take it to the shop.

Thank you, I checked my drive shafts and on the driver side, there is a grey goo that looks as if its sprayed and splattered out of the cv boot. Could that be a busted cv joint? And if so would this explain the hard knocks and sudden slight jerks?

Inspect CV joint for excessive play if so replace the drive axle and inspect other suspension components
