My 2002 navigator will start and run fine but when it is shut off it will not restart. The motor will turn over but will not fire. If I let it sit for a few hours or over night it will start right up like there was nothing wrong. I have replaced the fuel filter and checked the fule pump. I've got good fuel pressure. I have tried to start it a shot of starting fulid. It will run for a few seconds then die again. This tells me that the spark plugs are firing. What am I missing. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If it starts with starting fluid, it isn't getting fuel. Even if you have good fuel pressure, chances are it isn't getting into the engine. Have you checked to make sure the injectors are getting power? You will need a noid light to check it. Unplug an injector and plug the light in. When you crank the engine, the light should pulse. Most parts stores will lend you the light to check.

Let me know what you find.
