2002 Land Rover Discovery Repair Question
Asked on December 11, 2011
My vehicle did not start.
I was on high speed and I noticed that smoke was coming out of the front hood and i parked to check. I saw oil splashed all over the engine and I tried to look for where the leakage came from but I could not. I tried to drive to a safe place which I finally parked. I gauged my oil but the engine oil was low. I topped the oil to move ahead but the the engine refused to start. When I turn on the engine to start, the engine will not crank but all the light indicator was on.

If the starter and solenoid are getting power, you have seized the engine. It will need to be rebuilt or replaced.
