Timing chain cover/ Thermostat housing

I'm needing to know how to take off the timing chain cover on my 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 w/3.7L V-6 engine. I was going to change my thermostat and the bottom bolt broke off inside. So I guess I'll have to take that cover off to be able to get that stud drilled out and re-tapped. Do I need a puller to remove the harmonic balancer? Thanks

You shouldn't need a puller, but you will probably need an air wrench as it will be on very tight.
