Gauge reads high on oil. At all times, car makes no noise, what could be causing this.

MAYBE THE SENDING UNIT IS BAD

THEY ARE USUALLY EZ TO DO AND INEXPENSIVE

. YOUR GAUGE MAY BE BAD
