2002 Jaguar XK8 Repair Question

Mercedes transmisson
02 jag xk supercharged mercedes trans , when driving for a while trans free wheels and car will not move for 15 - 20 min, Trany shop replaced valve body , then solenoids and valve body again , then rebuilt transmisson , still has the same issue , any one have an idea were to look next .

Its still coming from the tranny-was the TC replaced? Sounds like you need another transmission

I've never experienced a torque convertor do this with out contaminating the trany with metal , and yes it to was replaced , I was wondering if it could be a signal from traction control, trany shop thinks there could be an internal crack in the case but I don't understand why it functions fine when shifted manually .
