Have the ac checked with a set of guages, it may be empty.

If refrigerant is up (no leaks), check your exterior temperature sensor. That was the issue on my 2000. It was a $65 Canadian from Ford. Check to see if your ext. Temp reading on dash is believable. If not, put in new sensor. If this is not it check the dccv fuse (10 amp, #32 under hood). If ok test dccv. If ok check 2 hot dccv (red)outer wires to dash. Also visit jaguarclimatecontrol.
