My dashboard light says "Check Trans". But his warning light turns off when I start the engine. I noticed that my automatic transmission does not shift to 3rd gear and remains most of the time at 2nd gear. I checked the transmission fluid through the dip stick while engine is running and found the fluid about 1/3" above the maximum line. What could be the problem?
