Just had the transmission rebuilt and reinstalled today. Tranny mechanics called and said Check TOD light is flashing. This is the first time that's happened. Part of the tranny rebuild was a new torque converter. Car runs great in 2W or 4W drive, I brought it home tonight. Tranny mechs drove it too, checked it on their professional analyzer, no codes. Checked wires, found nothing. Unhooked battery and re-hooked, light still flashes. Odd that this just happened with new tranny install. Any ideas where to go from here? Thanks.

Bring it back! It didnt flash until they made repairs. Its flashing, that means a hard fault. There has to be a code set. They had to have either broken a wire, or forgot to hook up a sensor. Either way, when the light flashes, there IS A CODE! Dont let them tell you otherwise.

Thank you much, Mike! Not that I was looking forward to going back. Will it hurt the car to drive it until I can get it back to them? Might be later this week.

I cant say for sure. Without knowing the actual code. If its flashing, its serious, and I wouldnt recommend driving it. They flash when ever damage can occur.
