2002 Hyundai Accent Repair Question

Hyundai Accent Click Problem
When I try to get fuel, the pump keeps clicking off and will not let me add fuel to the car. It's like some kind of sensor thinks it's full. It takes about 15 minutes to fill the tank which is only a 12 gallon tank. What could be wrong? Asked two mechanics who say they have never heard of this.

Check for trouble codes. Such problems are usually due to a fault with the EVAP system and Hyundai vehicles are more prone to it.
