Car accelerating on its own
2002 Honda Odyssey: Whenever I have the van running but have my foot on the brake for more than 5 minutes (example, waiting in line at the bank or carpool line at school) my van engine starts getting loud and then when I take my foot off the gas, it accelerates on its own. Even without using the gas at all it will continue to accelerate. It will continue to do this until I turn it off and let it cool back down.
It only does this if I have to wait more than 5 minutes like that.. otherwise its fine. Any ideas?

Check the coolant in radiator and ensure it is correct.
Check for vacum leakages.
Above would result in engine idling speed increasing.
