The rear suspension compressor will not turn on automatically but will turn on manually. It for some reason would release all the air and I would have to "work" it to get it to pump up the rear end. After it would pump up, it would seal so to speak and hold air but only if I would start my vehicle every so often or else it would release all the pressure again after a few hours. Now, like I said, it will only turn on manually and not automatically and so not inflate an inch. PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like you have a leak somewhere in the system have you inspected the hoses etc yet?

I have not. Before when it would start up I could hear the air leak and I would have to rock it and lift on the passenger rear Fender and then it would seal and finish inflating and I would be good to go. I wasn't sure if it could be a relay? If the compressor turns on manually it is still good right?

Thank you for all your help.

If it turns on manually it sounds like the relay and pump is working but with a leak the pumps over work and burn up. Sounds like you found the problem area where the leak is. Could be the air strut itself.

So are you saying the compressor is good or not? I just need to know if I need to look at the strut lines or else where. If it's the compressor them I will order one.

If the compressor is running we know its running but just need to make sure its still pumping air. You still have a leak in the system no matter how you look at it. You need to find the leak fix that and go from there. It doesn't sound like a line if you move the right rear and it will pump up. But anything is possible also I cant tell you whats wrong just by what you have told me so far. It has to be a back and fourth between us until we find something that leads us to the problem. As long as the compressor hasn't ran off and on because of the leak for Long time then I would think it was still good. Like I said earlier if its coming on thats a good sign as long as its pumping air.I wish you had a scan tool to read the codes in the computer that would help narrow down the problem. But sounds like your getting close if you can lift up on the right rear an it will raise up. Thats the area I would be looking for a problem.
