I removed 5 qts from tran fluid about 20000 miles ago, now I think it needs better, I want to remove 12 qts but don't know where and what line to remove to get the job done. Please tell me where and what line to remove so I can get better than 5 qts out. Thank you Jim

You just remove the transmission pan and change transmission filter is that what you did last time?Thats all I would do to change the transmission fluid on it. Thats all thats ment to be done to change the fluid on it.

I know you told me you drained 5qts there is no safe practical way of doing it at your house. The transmission cooler lines are the only lines on that carry fluid.I would never drain fluid from those lines thats a lot of pressure and it would have to be running and you could run your transmission lpw or out of fluid and cause damage to it.
