Not sure how to test the alternator, the van won't start

you must have a battery that will start the car first and then you need to check the voltage at the battery with it running.

tried to jump start the car. And taken to a parts store for them check the codes

actually brake fluid dripped on a connecter under the air filter and now it is running great and all my dash lights that have been on are now off
