2002 Ford Taurus stalls

Car stalls when radio, lights and wipers are on. Car runs when lights, hadio and wipers are off. Also radio display lights are off when headlights are on.

Is the engine idle speed exceptionally low?

Scratch my 1st response idle is very low, at 1 on the dial.

Okay, we could have a couple issues. First, a weak alternator can cause this. Does the vehicle sound normal when starting? If it is, then the low idle in combination with the added load from an electrical draw on the alternator, could cause it to stall.

Lets start with having the alternator tested. If there is a parts store near you, drive there and ask them to check it. Most will do it for free. Let me know what you find.
